PHILIPPINE HAEDONG KUMDO ASSOCIATION

May 20, 2008

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I would like to officially invite you to our 2nd National Haedong Kumdo Seminar from June 7 – June 12, 2008 in Manila, Philippines.

Our special guest is none other than the Grand Master Kim Jeong Seong from the United World Haedong Kumdo Federation (UWHKF) based in Busan, South Korea.

It is a form of Korean swordsmanship that uses curved single bladed sword either one or two in a dance form exercises. The movement of sword form is soft but strong and dynamic which can develop one's physique and spirit. It was developed from ancient Korean military art form. And through the leadership of Grandmaster Kim Jeong Seong, the organization and its curriculum of Haedong Kumdo were systematized.Literally means “sword of the eastern sea” or most likely “original Korean sword techniques”. It is totally different from Jukdo and Juhapdo, version of Japanese Kendo.

In the Philippines, our UWHKF is represented by the Philippine Haedong Kumdo Association (PHKA) under its president Mr. Joel D. Anajao. Mr. Anajao is also a master of different martial arts.

For inquiries regarding exact dojang locations, seminar requirements, fees and equipment, please contact any of our officers below:
