2004년 8월 총관장 에디 제콥슨의 방한 해동검도 지도자 연수 이후 남아프리카공화국 9개의 주 중에서
아래와 같이 현재 5개주에서 각 대표들에 의해 해동검도 활동이 활발히 되고 있으며, 매년 해동검도 캠프 및 세미나,입승단심사, 해동검도 대회 등을 개최함으로써 남아공에서 한국무술인 해동검도가 서서히 각광을 받고 있다.
그리고 2005년도에는 본 협회 총재의 남아공 해동검도 캠프에 직접 참가하여 세미나 및 입승단심사등을 주관하면서 남아공 국영방송TV에도 방송되는 등 향 후 많은 해동검도 활동들이 기대된다.
특히 올해 2007년 3월 현재에는 아래와 같이 해동검도 교본 제1권을 영문으로 출간해 내는 큰 성과를 보였다.

Our country has nine provinces and presently Haedong Kumdo is represented in 5 of the nine provinces in our country, and we shortly hope to have instructors in all of the 9 provinces.
